A flavour of what I get up to in my life and work as an artist

Le Radeau Rocheux
Running throughout July 2025 in rural Stirlingshire, 'Le Radeau Rocheux' is the result of a year long personal project featuring a collection of sketches, drawings and aintings by Terri Innes Lyon.

Heavily influenced by Gericault's 1819 painting 'The Raft of the Medusa' and painted in oils, the central piece of the exhibition combines his original commentary with the spectacular imagery captured by the Fife based photographer Steve Cook as I add my own voice to the conversation on global issues.

Portrait of a lady
Portraits are tricky things, and I'm currently readying myself for a new challenge to upskill massively in this discipline!

Oh Mr Dance!

My love of portraiture has been longstanding and I love nothing more than looking at swagger portraits, especially 16th Century paintings! But as I work on my skills to become the next Alan Ramsay, I'm using images of some of my favourite Actors to learn the craft. He might be in his 70's, but Charles Dance still brings on a swoon every time I hear his lovely voice.
